The UK Government is committed to ending the sale of new petrol and diesel vehicles by 2035, if not earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A huge challenge to this commitment is the availability of efficient and affordable EV charging as more electric vehicles begin to join the roads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, a driver is at most 25 miles away from a high-speed charging facility on any major road in England. The Department for Transport and OLEV have recently announced further investment in the EV infrastructure to further improve this offering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of a \u00a3500 million pound investment package, the departments aim to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
