{"id":14,"date":"2020-06-17T14:18:07","date_gmt":"2020-06-17T14:18:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/evcukgroup.com\/?page_id=14"},"modified":"2022-03-28T20:31:56","modified_gmt":"2022-03-28T19:31:56","slug":"installations","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/evcukgroup.com\/installations\/","title":{"rendered":"Installations"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1>\n\t\tWhat is a Standard Install?\n\t<\/h1>\n<h3>\n\t\tHow do I know if I&#8217;ve got a 7kW standard installation?\n\t<\/h3>\n\tMost 7kW installations are standard, but there are a few occasions where additional work is necessary.<br \/>\nFind out if you come under Standard Installation in the table below.\n<h3>\n\t\tStandard Installations\n\t<\/h3>\n\t<p>All of the points listed below are inclusive of a standard installation, included in the cost of your charger.<\/p>\n\t<ul>\n\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\tInstalling an EV Charger on a brick or plaster wall, or to another suitable permanent structure\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\tDrill through one wall (300mm)\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\t10m cable run from your fuse box to your EV Charger\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\tUp to 10m of plastic trunking to conceal interior wiring\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\tInstallation below 1.8m\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\tClear cable route\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\tNo civil work requried\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\tSpare ways in your fuse box\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\tFitting and testing of electrical connections and protective devices &#8211; Electrical testing and the NICEIC Certification\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\tDemonstration of the Chargepoint functions and App (if applicable)\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<\/ul>\n<h3>\n\t\tNon- standard Installations\n\t<\/h3>\n\t<p>Requiring <strong>any<\/strong> of the points below may mean you required a non-standard install.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/evcukgroup.com\/contact-us\/\">Contact us<\/a> to find out more about this.<\/p>\n\t<ul>\n\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\tInstalling an EV Charger on an uneven brick or plaster wall.\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\tMore than 10m of plastic trunking to conceal interior wiring\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\tMore than a 10m cable run from your fuse box to your EV Charger\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\tDrill through more than one wall\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\tInstallation above 1.8m will require high-level access equipment. Due to working height regulations, this is a 2 person job\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\tMoving of furniture or equipment that maybe in the way of the cable route\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\tCivil work required (eg. trenching)\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\tNo spare ways in your fuse box. This will require a new dedicated distribution board\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\t<b>Cost is dependent on complexity of additional work required.
