ENERGY SAVING TRUST GRANT EV CHARGING GRANT
What is the Grant?
The typical cost for a home charge point and installation is approximately £1000. As part of its Electric Vehicle Homecharge scheme, OZEV currently offers applicants £350 towards this cost. Energy Saving Trust will provide up to £250 further funding on top of this.
Offer is open to electric vehicle owners (or those with leases) and those that use an electric vehicle through work. This offer is only open for installations at addresses in Scotland
You can claim up to £250 to cover installations costs that aren't covered by the OZEV Grant

You can install your charge point up to four months ahead of getting your electric vehicle.
As well as Electric Vehicle Owners, the grant is also available too:
- Individuals who are assigned a company car for at least six months on or after 1 October 2016;
- Individuals who lease an eligible vehicle for at least six months on or after 1 October 2016;
- Individuals who have leased the vehicle as part of a salary-sacrifice
scheme from 1 October 2016 onwards; - Individuals who are named by their employer as the primary user of an eligible electric vehicle for at least six months on or after 1 October 2016
Unfortunately no, the Energy Saving Trust will only provide grants for installations that pass the criteria for the OZEV Grant.
